HORSEWEEK!, and that means that Saddle Sore Riders are involved in Rodeo parking
the 20th - 22nd (see Charlene Hall), the Parade on 4/21, Quarter Dip on
4/24, and Adult Fun Night on the 27th. SSR also staffs our Country Store booth at the rodeo. Come on out and participate
in an event, its a lot of fun. Sign-up sheets at General Meetings. |

Everybody loves a parade, right? So shine up that horse, put on your SSR T-Shirt & come help us show Norco that this is
the club to belong to!

Tuesday, April 24 - Horseweek Quarter Dip -
What's a Quarter Dip you ask? Pay 25 cents per "dip" of food. Fill your
plate with home cooked items, some store bought, and of course, some
restaurant contributed. Pam Witham will get all of
our finest cooks in gear and help pack the place with food. Volunteers
always needed and appreciated!! You just can't get
anything like it! There is also a horse shoe competition following the Quarter
Dip.

| Friday, April 27 - Horseweek Adult Fun Night - Test your
horsemanship skills in all of the fun events - water cup race, potato
race, five person relay, and the ever popular hangman to name a few.
Volunteers needed for the sign up booth and to man the gates and arena! Contact Bill Erwin
(SSR roster) for details.

Saturday, April 28 - Once again, the Montgomery's are
Trail Bosses for this event for the Horseweek Poker Ride. It will be another fantastic ride
staging from Ingalls Park at 9 a.m., with the ride leaving at 10 a.m. Try to get there early for the special Pancake
Breakfast up at Nellie Weaver Hall before the ride (starting at 7 a.m.) and then you can enjoy the burgers and
hot dogs when you get back! As always, prizes to be won -- why not you?
